My journey as a designer has been shaped by a strong academic foundation, industry-recognized certifications, and hands-on experience.
About me
My passion for creating seamless, meaningful user experiences began during my work in art direction and UI design. Over the past three years, I’ve deepened this passion with technical expertise and problem-solving skills as a UX designer. Working on challenging yet rewarding projects - often while leading design teams - taught me how to balance business goals and engineering constraints, all while relentlessly advocating for the user. I particularly enjoy design operations and systems that simplify complexity, bringing order and clarity through creative, functional, and user-centered solutions.
I graduated from Hochschule Düsseldorf, Germany, with a degree in Communication Design. During my studies, including a semester abroad at San Francisco State University, I honed my human-centered design skills and ultimately applied them to my thesis project.
I grew up in a small village in Germany, but my curiosity about the world reached far beyond it. Books, documentaries, and an eagerness to learn opened my perspective early on. This mindset still drives me today - embracing research, understanding diverse user needs, and translating them into thoughtful designs.
Outside of design, I recharge through movement and connection: whether it’s fitness, dancing, running, hiking, or simply sharing a long coffee and conversation with friends. These moments keep me grounded and remind me how grateful I am to be part of this ever-inspiring world.
